What is Celebration Stillwater?

It is a week's worth of fun and services for the community, culminating with the "Big Event" on Saturday, October 1st. It is a great showcase for how local churches, businesses and the City can work in cooperation to give back to the community. Last year approximately 4000 people attended. This year's "Big Event" is scheduled for October 1st from 12:00 - 6:00 at Couch Park. Everything is free. There are inflatables, carnival games, face painting, horse rides for all ages. There are hourly contests and great prizes given away. OSU athletes are there all day interacting with kids and signing autographs. Many free services are offered including dental, eyecare, and health. Doctors will be onsite to answer questions. Free Oil changes will take place.

Why Celebration Stillwater?

The churches of Stillwater want to reach out to the community and share God's love in a real and practical way. We want Stillwater to know us for what we are "for", instead of what we are "against". Whether it is through an unexpected act of kindness, helping kids at the 3 Day Mega Sports Camp, or serving people at the Big Event at Couch Park; we hope many people will be blessed because of it. Our theme this year is "Letting Our Light Shine". We hope you received a little bit of "Son Shine".

The Big Event

The Big Event is a huge celebration at Couch Park from Noon - 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 1st. There will be games, contests, inflatables, OSU athletes, horses, free food, dunk tanks. Many free services like dental, eyecare, health, dermotology and free oil changes. Great prizes will be given out every hour.

Mega Sports Camp

A Three-Day Camp for kids grades Kindergarten through Fifth on Sept 27th - 29th at Southern Woods from 6 - 8 p.m. This FREE, fun-filled camp focuses on improving skills in soccer, basketball or Cheerleading/Dance. Kids will also enjoy upbeat rallies and discuss important character traits. The theme this year is God CAN (Created, Attitude, Need Him). Knock out hunger!

How you can help: Churches, businesses, organizations and families are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items that will help meet the needs of many in our community. Suggested collection dates are Sept. 25 - Oct. 1.

How we can help: Cowboys with Compassion volunteers will work with your church, business or organization to pick up the collected food items. Volunteers will provide pick up of collected items on Monday, Oct. 3 and Monday, Oct. 10. Other times can be scheduled if necessary.
